Lydia is a London based Lifestyle and Portrait photographer having trained at Central St Martins School of Art, (UAL) on their post graduate photography program. Previously, she was a published Illustrator and Art Editor for well-known publications in UK and overseas, with a
Ba Hons Graphic Design degree from Liverpool JM University, followed by a Post-graduate Certificate in Illustration from Central St Martins.

A professional photographer since 2003 Lydia has been commissioned for high profile magazines and books photographing people and locations for editorial features, design and books, mixing reportage with location lifestyle images, portraiture, and close detail shots.

Lydia’s past experience as a magazine Art Editor greatly assists her with styling on the spot at locations and visualising the image combinations that will tell the whole story within the feature, and the ability to capture a sense of a place or livelihood.

“Highly professional and endlessly creative, Lydia Evans has produced just the right images
for our projects. The books have truly benefitted from her involvement – the photos are
eye-catching and perfectly arranged.”

(Margaret Swinson – Editor at Quintet publishing)

“THANK YOU so much for the Dublin story, you absolutely nailed it. I love the way you shoot… the colors and the people are exactly the right feel and mood that we wanted for these pages”
(Caroline Metcalfe – Director of Photography, Conde Nast Traveller)

“Fantastic photographer and great professional… Lydia was amazing at relaxing us and ensuring we all felt comfortable and landed great portraits. It was a pleasure working with her and I highly recommend her. Amazing work!”
(Alex Valenzuela – Head of Public realm at South Bank BID)

“My all time favorite is Kathryn helping Sophia with her bouquet and Florence is holding her dress. The light is amazing. You have caught a precious moment. Many who have seen it come out with the comment that it looks like a (Vogue) fashion shoot… You have this combination of very personal and wow factor” Beverly Lane, (Mother to the Bride)
